Paleo Shrimp Recipes

It has been more than half a year since I wrecked my kitchen due to pure raging fury at the lack of high quality paleo shrimp recipes. I was furious that most of the recipes I discovered were downright lame. As a result, I started smashing things in the kitchen just to let off steam!

Alright I’m just kidding. I didn’t actually wreck the kitchen, but I was definitely peeved at the lack of truly flavorsome shrimp recipes that cater to paleo enthusiasts. In the end I decided to download this recipe book and voila! It contains some very interesting and finger-licking paleo shrimp recipes, plus a ton of other stuff too. You can find out more about the book right here.

Also try the following recipes. They are greeeeaaat!

Recipe #1: Paleo Shrimp Curry Recipe

paleo shrimp recipes

Ingredients for the recipe…

½ lb of shrimps that have been peeled and deveined, 2 tablespoons of red curry paste, 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, 2 ½ cups of coconut milk, ½ lb pineapple (chopped into cubes), 2 red chilies (seeded and chopped), 5 lime leaves (smashed them with the side of a knife), a handful of chopped cilantro (for garnishing), some ground black pepper and sea salt to add flavor to the dish.

Recipe directions…

1) Turn the stove on and heat a pot or large skillet on medium. Next, dump in about half of the coconut milk. Bring to boil.

2) Add the red curry paste and stir a bit until it becomes fragrant.

3) Add in the balance coconut milk together with a couple tablespoons of fish sauce. Wait for milk to boil.

4) Now you toss in the shrimps, the smashed lime leaves plus the pineapple cubes. Cover the pot or skillet with a lid and let the mixture cook for maybe 3 to 5 minutes. Basically, if the shrimps are cooked, you’re good to go.

5) Garnish the curry dish with the chopped red chilies and cilantro.

I really like this paleo shrimp curry recipe, and if you wish, you could actually add some cleaned mussels and cook them with the shrimp. They make a pretty decent combo.

Recipe #2: Paleo Diet Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients for the recipe…

2 lbs of large shrimps that have been peeled and deveined, 2 tablespoons of parsley (chopped), 3 tablespoons of ghee, 2 tablespoons of cooking fat, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 4 garlic cloves (minced), a pinch of cayenne pepper plus a little sea salt and black pepper for flavoring.

Recipe directions…

1) Heat cooking fat in a large skillet and then put in the shrimps. Cook them for about 3 to 5 minutes.

2) Remove shrimps and put aside. Lower the stove’s heat to medium-low and heat only 1 tablespoon of ghee. Add in the minced garlic cloves and cook until they’re slightly fragrant (roughly 3 to 5 seconds).

3) Remove skillet from heat, toss in the two tablespoons of parsley, lemon juice, a bit of cayenne pepper, sea salt and pepper for seasoning, plus the remaining balance of ghee.

4) Dump the shrimps you set aside earlier back into the pan and mix them well with the mixture.

Okay, you’re done. Enjoy the meal! By the way, I’d strongly recommend that you serve this excellent paleo diet shrimp scampi dish with some roasted mix vegetables.

Richard Patel is a former amateur cricket player, a paleo diet follower, and also an avid cook. The guy just loves to cook! In fact, he created his very own version of the paleo shrimp curry recipe and he did it with aplomb. As a result, many people could not help but fell head over heels for his outrageously good curry dish.

According to Patel, the secret to his superb tasting curry is his ability to select only the finest quality ingredients. In addition, he uses organic shrimp exclusively in his cooking. You might not be aware of this, but Patel is a master at preparing a tremendous array of paleo shrimp recipes. Aside from curry, he’s also great at cooking stir-fry shrimp dishes.

Two nights ago, he whipped up an incredibly delectable dish called stir-fry shrimp with salsa and spinach mix. People at the dinner table were in total awe of the dish. The dish was pleasing to the eye, looked absolutely appetizing, and the taste was just out of this world! Every diner had a second helping. Yes, you better believe it, the dish was that good!

In fact, I think Patel’s stir-fry meal tasted even better than his paleo shrimp curry recipe. I told him how I felt about his latest dish and he immediately beamed with pride. Later that night, Patel shared some very interesting information with me. He said that for the past few weeks, he has been busy experimenting with various recipes and one of them is a paleo diet shrimp scampi with asparagus dish which he plans on unveiling in the coming days.

Upon hearing this wonderful piece of info, I couldn’t help but feel super excited. I’m always in the mood for Patel’s cooking so I can’t wait to try his latest recipes. I even cheekily suggested that he write a book featuring dozens of his homemade paleo shrimp recipes, and he said that he actually plan to do so in the future. Now, that’s even more exciting!

I’ll be honest here. Even if the book costs two hundred dollars, I would not hesitate to spend my money on it. Like I said earlier, when it comes to paleo shrimp recipes, Patel is the master. He’s a super creative in the kitchen, shrimp is his specialty, and all the dishes he produced so far tasted good to me. Really, it’s true. Patel’s cooking has been very consistent. He has yet to make a bad meal. That’s why I’m more than eager to taste his latest creation which is the paleo diet shrimp scampi with asparagus.

If you’re interested in learning about Richard Patel’s process in creating various mouth-watering paleo shrimp recipes, just drop me an email. I’ll talk to him and maybe we could work something out. Like they say “sharing is caring”, and fortunately for all of us, Richard Patel is a generous man. He loves sharing his cooking knowledge which he accumulated over a number of years, with other paleo diet followers from all corners of the world.
