Easy Recipe #1: Paleo Rosemary Marinated Grilled Fish

easy paleo recipes for beginners
Get these ingredients - - -> 4 pieces of white fish fillets, 4 rosemary sprigs, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 3 teaspoons finely chopped rosemary, 1 lemon which you should slice into 4 wedges, and half a teaspoon of ground black pepper.

Method - - -> Grab a tray, line it with baking paper, and then put the fillets on top. Apply finely chopped rosemary, ground black pepper, and olive oil on both sides of each fillet. Make sure you rub the ingredients in well and put a rosemary sprig on each fillet.

Grab a sheet of cling wrap to cover the tray. Pop tray in the fridge and allow the fillets to marinate for about an hour. To cook the fillets, preheat your grill to medium-high, drop fillets on the grill together with the rosemary sprigs. Grill each side until fully cook, which may take about 5 to 10 minutes.

Transfer cooked fillets onto a clean plate and serve together with sliced lemon wedges. This is one of the most popular and easy paleo recipes for beginners, at least in my household. People at my place seem to enjoy it a lot. I used to like it a lot too, but now I’m getting a little tired of it to be honest.

Now, for the second recipe…

Easy Recipe #2: Pork Chops with Honey Pecan Mix

easy to cook paleo meals

Get these ingredients - - -> 1 ¼ pounds of boneless and pounded thin pork loin, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, ¼ cup of chopped pecans, ¼ cup of raw honey, ½ cup of almond meal, a bit of sea and pepper to taste.

Method - - -> Grab a bowl and add in almond meal, salt, and pepper. Combine well and then throw in the loin. Roll loin in the mixture until well coated.

Grab a large skillet and heat up the olive oil over medium-high heat. Place coated pork loin in the skillet and cook until both sides are brown. Remove loin and put it on a plate, but leave the pan drippings.

Now, you mix in the chopped pecans and raw honey with the pan drippings. Stir for a minute or two, turn off the heat and finally pour mixture all over the pork loin. Enjoy!

I’m glad that I purchased a copy of the November issue of Men’s Health magazine. Truth be told, I’m not a fan of this magazine, but in the November issue, there was an article on how to prepare about half a dozen easy paleo recipes for beginners. The article was informative and quite entertaining as well, thus I decided to keep it in my personal file folder for future reference.

These days, you can find paleo recipes in various health-related magazines and heck, even in software format! Yes, it’s true. Around last summer, I stumbled across a software application that has a built-in list of 100 beginner paleo diet recipes. I wanted to buy it, but I just kept putting it off, and when I finally decided to purchase the software, the website had already been taken down.

Needless to say, I was very disappointed.  According to the programmer, the software application is capable of automatically measuring the necessary ingredients for a particular recipe in a precise manner, therefore making it extremely easy to cook paleo meals on a regular basis. Such software would be useful for paleo diet aficionados who lack ideas on what dishes to make on a day-to-day basis.

Since the software is no longer available, we followers of the paleo diet would have to rely on books and magazines for generating a wide array of recipe ideas. Speaking of books, a man by the name of Robert Miller is planning on publishing his own coffee table book which may contain as many as 500 different easy paleo recipes for beginners. He hasn’t finalized the number of recipes to be included in the book, but he told me that 500 is the most likely number.

I cannot wait for his book to be published because I love to collect as many Paleolithic diet recipes as possible. Ask any paleo enthusiast out there what is the biggest challenge of following this particular diet, and he or she is most likely to answer gaining fresh recipe ideas as the biggest challenge of all. Of course, people who are new to this form of diet would even have a much harder time coming up with new recipe ideas.

I believe that those who are new to paleo diet should keep things simple as far as meal preparation is concerned. A newbie should not attempt to cook anything fancy or elaborate until he or she has acclimatized with the diet, which may take a few weeks. Initially, the newbie should stick with making only beginner paleo diet recipes. This is the approach I took when I first embraced the paleo diet.

In the beginning, you might feel some form of discomfort from following the paleo diet, but persevere for several weeks, and soon you’ll get the hang of it. Trust me, your patience and perseverance will be rewarded in the form of better mental clarity, improved physique, improved immune system, and more energy to expand throughout the day.

Each day, more and more people are embracing the paleo diet and the primary reason is none other than the health benefits I just mentioned. Also, people actually love the large variety of healthy and delectable dishes that can be prepared using the Paleolithic diet principles. Just be mindful of my earlier advice which is to stick to preparing easy paleo recipes for beginners, if you’re still new to the diet. Get creative with your meals once you’re used to the diet. Good luck my paleo friends!
